Funding Applicants
Top of the South Community Foundation is a registered charitable organisation operating across the top of the South Island. We distribute the income on endowment funds in accordance with the wishes of our donors.
Current funding principally comes from the three funding sources - our General Endowment Fund, our Environment Fund and via The Tindall Foundation.
The Tindall Foundation is a philanthropic family foundation working throughout Aotearoa to support families, community and the environment. Funding for the distribution of donations for the Marlborough, Nelson and Tasman regions for projects and initiatives that support TTF’s Family/Whānau Focus Area should be made directly via TTF's website https://tindall.org.nz/family/ . Donations can be from $500 to $5,000.

General Endowment Fund
Available to registered charities and community groups operating for charitable purpose across the Top of the South.
Applications close 31 July annually.
Environment Fund
Available to registered charities and community groups operating for charitable purpose supporting conservation, protection of the environment and sustainability across the Top of the South.
Applications close 31 July annually.
The Tindall Foundation - Family/Whānau Focus Area
Applications may be made by community groups across Marlborough, Nelson and Tasman that meet The Tindall Foundation priorities for this funding.
