We are delighted to let you know that at our AGM on 7 November, it was unanimously agreed to accept the results of our stakeholder poll and adopt the new name, Top of the South Community Foundation.
Top of the South Foundation exists to encourage and enable generosity in the Top of the South Island for the benefit of our communities here. We help generous people by providing easy and secure options to support the causes, charities and community projects of their choice now and forever.
We have been aware from community and stakeholder feedback that our former name “Nelson Bays Community Foundation” did not naturally include Tasman and Marlborough. As the Foundation exists to serve the wishes of all generous people in the Top of the South, we felt that it was time to choose a new name that accurately reflects our purpose.
Thank you to our many supporters and stakeholders who helped us choose our new name.
Watch out for our new look as we begin to implement the new logo and branding. Although our email and domain name will also change, the old ones will still work for quite some time to allow time for people to transition to the new contact information seamlessly.
