Gavin Larsen appointed as Executive Officer
11 August, 2020

The Board of the Top of the South Community Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Gavin Larsen to the part-time role of Executive Officer. This appointment is a key step to support our core strategic objectives to improve our engagement with donors, build our presence, and grow our funds.

Gavin is a resident of Te Tauihu / the Top of the South, and a former New Zealand cricketer. He has previously held roles as Head of Sponsorship for both The National Bank and ANZ, as CEO of Cricket Wellington, and as Cricket Operations Manager for Cricket World Cup 2015. Gavin is currently a selector for New Zealand Cricket, and the part-time Foundation EO role provides an excellent fit alongside that part-time role.

Gavin’s initial priorities include reconvening events that were cancelled to support Covid-19 social distancing initiatives, and supporting our mission to support a strong, vibrant community by promoting and encouraging generosity in our community, and matching generosity with causes that matter.

We are thrilled to have Gavin join the team and look forward to him applying his wealth of experience with people and community development to our unique part of the world.
