CFNZ National Conference inspires attendees
6 June, 2022

The recent three-day Community Foundations of NZ National Conference showcased the amazing work Community Foundations are doing around New Zealand.

Growing Community Impact – Whakaaweawe tē hāpori, was the theme of our 2022 conference, and one of the positive impacts of the conference was simply the opportunity to be together.

We had three attendees at the conference, Chair Dave Ashcroft, Trustee Bill Agnew, and our Executive Officer Gavin Larsen, and it was a great opportunity to rub shoulders with many like-minded people from the other 16 CF’s across New Zealand.

Gavin also spoke at the conference dinner, highlighting some of the recent Top of the South successes, along with producing a cricket yarn or two!

The CF network is in great heart, and it was clear to all that there is a growing momentum across the country as people understand and become excited about our awesome giving model.

That means you can claim back a third of your gift, putting more support behind the people, projects, and places you care about in Te Tauihu. It’s a simple way to make generosity work harder, while keeping your giving local.
