Grant funding round opens 1st May 2023
19 April, 2023

Top of the South Community Foundation’s mission is " To encourage and enable generosity for the benefit of communities in the Top of the South" and its annual funding round, which opens 1 May 2023, is an expression of that mission.

Charitable organisations in the Tasman, Golden Bay, Nelson and Marlborough regions are eligible to apply for funding from TotSCF which typically makes individual grants of between $1000 and $3,000. Applications close on 31 July and funds are generally distributed before the end of September.

The foundation prioritises grants to registered charities that support;

• Protecting the environment

• Advancing education

• Supporting charitable needs (including for Māori and all ethnic groups)

• Advancing health

 To find out if your charity may qualify visit our website: https://www.topsouthfoundation.org.nz/our-grant-process/who-and-what-we-fund/, and see our FAQ's for applicants.

Alongside its own funding round, TotSCF assist The Tindall Foundation with its annual grants round across the Top of the South.

“We are very proud of our Local Allocation Committee (LAC) relationship with The Tindall Foundation, which enables us to be the local eyes and ears for them,” says TotSCF chair Dave Ashcroft.
